to be honest, i'm not that far and i haven't read this all the way because i only have it via ebook. i love nabokov's writing style. it is um... very interesting. a lot of the people reviewing it say it is one the greatest books of the 20th century and is an amazing love story. it can be a little disturbing, but, i really love how it is written. stanley cubrick (he did a clockwork orange) made this into a film, which i've never seen, but if cubrick liked it... it must be worthy of anyone's time! :) - @amazon.com

i really want to finish my room! it's been sitting in the same mess of annoying clutter of dirty clothes, hangers, and random shit that i don't know what to do with for a long time. partially due to laziness and partially due to the fact that i'm never home. bah. i need to get my life together.
classes started monday! i love the first week of school because of the free shit. each year gets progressively crappier when it comes to the free stuff. i got free pizza, yogurt & granola, cookies, pens, nalgene bottles, water, shopping bags from trader joes & tj maxx, and tacos this year. school almost gave me a stroke. i had to sit in on 4 classes, got kicked out of one, and then went to an advisor. the advisor/head of the nutrition department is a fucking retard. she basically told me i sucked at life, didn't listen to anything i said, and told me shit i already said i knew. she did not really seem to give a shit about who i was. whatever she can fuck herself.
even though the week started off stressful, today was a FANTASTIC day!!!! i got added to both my MWF classes. i had an awesome conversation with my biomedical ethics teacher today about our homework. he really makes me think! my nutrition & physical fitness teacher was my lab teacher last semester, and she is one fantastic professor. tomorrow i'm going to talk to my JOUR101 teacher and hopefully he adds me, too. nutrition throughout the life cycle seems so interesting. i want to go in and talk to her. all my professors seem so awesome, i'm so excited! i'm scared of human nutrition.
i have a SWEET schedule. i get to walk to school with posey every day and have some people in most of my classes! tues/thurs wendy and i have a break together... which means MUG CLUB! wahahahahahahaha.

guess what! i changed my major AGAIN... because i am crazy & have nightmares/dreams. also because it is the first year this major is offered at chico state and i am absolutely secure in my decision. it doesn't affect the classes i've taken either, because i haven't taken any for the FS option in nutrition. i guess this means i shouldn't take the wine class anymore since i don't NEED to...
